O-I BJC X HCMUT | A JOURNEY OF INSPIRATION WITH GLASS AMBASSADOR

On the morning of August 9th, the Glass Ambassador Challenge (GAC), organized by O-I BJC in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT), officially concluded with an emotional closing ceremony and awards presentation.

GAC is a competition under the University–Industry (U-I) category of Bach Khoa Innovation 2025 (BKI) – the annual innovation playground hosted by the University of Technology to discover and nurture groundbreaking ideas and solutions from the young generation.

Accompanying BKI, O-I BJC introduced a challenge focusing on glass collection and recycling, which received enthusiastic participation from both domestic and international students.

At the award ceremony, O-I BJC proudly stood as both the sponsor and strategic partner of BKI 2025. This also marked the first year of a strategic collaboration between O-I BJC and the Technology Business Incubator Center – HCMUT.

After four months of competition, the Glass Ambassador Challenge has officially concluded its journey and honored the Top 3 talented teams at the Bach Khoa Innovation 2025 Grand Final – young, creative, and passionate individuals determined to promote sustainable glass recycling. Each team brought a unique perspective and approach, yet all excelled in both glass collection and raising community awareness about recycling.

Concluding the journey of the Glass Ambassador Challenge at BKI 2025, O-I BJC is committed to continuing its mission of spreading the spirit of sustainable recycling, inspiring young people to turn ideas into action, actions into habits, and together create a green, sustainable, and circular future for glass.
